Environment means every thing around us. There are three main components of the environment such as land, water and air. Of course this is due to pass development. increasing population is thevmain reason for the pollution. This is mainly due to deforestation and dumping of garbage into the environment and unauthorized constructions. 

Also Water is polluted by the addition of oil to seawater, the release of industrial effluents, and the release of chemical substances into water. 🌐🌍🌿🍃

Air pollution is caused by reasons like forest fire, nuclear tests, Various human activities  and industrialization beings are a part of the environment.  Therefore, the destruction of the environment means the destruction of the man kind.  It is our responsibility to protect our surroundings.
